#MarsWalk day 71, 411.6 km

I’m now more than 400 km from the start.

There’s stuff of some interest just ahead but I’ll save that for next week. For now I’ll just mention about 74 km east and a little south of my location there’s a fresh impact — the pretty obvious black blotch on this HiRISE image linked from this page. The impact happened sometime between February 2005 and March 2008. Screen Shot 2016-03-18 at 7.40.57 PM
