This is another of those songs that doesn’t try to be especially goofy or oddball. M Otis Beard wrote and recorded this little gem about human fallibility while he was living in China, and it appeared on Supermarket. He’s often complained about the audio quality of the song, which he blamed on an old sound card in his computer, but while there’s some sonic oddness here, none of it strikes me as bad. And I just like the song a lot.
