Eggs

Not the first, but among the first of the eggs from the current flock of chickens:

We’ve had some white eggs too. I’m not sure if we have any araucanas, so don’t know if we can expect green ones.

Last night we got the last five holdout hens into the coop — they’d been evading capture for well over a week. We didn’t bother with the two roosters. They can survive outside, or not, or if Heather gets sufficiently fed up with them and can catch them they might have a particularly brief future.
