Here’s where to find out. I’ve posted a portion of my family tree in hopes of finding people with whom I share ancestors.
I’m especially interested in any information on my 2nd great grandfather, Hiram HOLMES, and his probable father, Nathan HOLMES. This site includes a plausible though not proven genealogy of Nathan HOLMES as well as some other information relating to my Hiram and Nathan Holmes search.
If we are related, I may have access to information you can use. I’ll be happy to do lookups for you. Conversely, you may have information I’m looking for!
I have a page of interesting relations and interesting relationships, and a transcription of the History of Hamilton chapter from an 1872 history of Madison County, New York. You also might be interested in the question of how many ancestors you have (and why you and I are likely to be cousins!)
